Who can apply?
David Grove developed these Clean processes that have clients moving about in space as a way to keep clients from getting mired in their problem spaces. With these light-touch approaches, clients discover and acknowledge both resources and issues and then move on, changing perspectives. There are times when these approaches are very suitable for therapeutic work, but the surface treatment of issues also makes them well-suited for many other kinds of work. Thus, the course and certification program are open to anyone interested in learning these processes.

How do I apply?
Begin by arranging a time to talk with Gina Campbell (email her at firstname.lastname@example.org). If you are new to Clean Language she will recommend you schedule a sample session to experience for yourself the unique experience a session provides for a client. It’s a good first step to be sure this learning journey is the right next step for you.
When you are ready, submit a completed application along with the $60 registration fee. If for any reason your registration is not accepted, this fee will be refunded. Otherwise, it is non-refundable.
FURTHER DETAILS FOR BOTH PROGRAMS
How will I know if my application has been accepted?
You will receive an email welcoming you to the program with information about next steps.
If I have already taken one or more of the required courses, do I have to repeat them if I want to become certified?
No, you won’t necessarily have to repeat them. As the assessments are competency-based, you may have taken the courses in the past and, if you’ve been practicing your Clean skills, you may be able to demonstrate your abilities. If your skills are rusty, you can discuss with Gina your personal needs and determine if repeating a course or taking some other step would be helpful. You will still need to meet the other requirements of the program (i.e. post-session coaching and assessments).
What if I have taken some Clean Language courses with another Clean trainer?
That’s fine. You do not need to have done the course work with Mining Your Metaphors. The assessments will demonstrate if you have developed the skills you need to be certified. If you aren’t there yet, you can discuss with Gina your personal needs and determine if you need to repeat a course or take other steps. You will still need to fulfill the other requirements of the program to be certified by Mining your Metaphors regardless of what you may have done with other trainers.
What if I’m still not sure certification is the right path for me?
Send Gina an email and request a call. She is happy to answer your questions and discuss your interests and concerns.
