What Do Clients Say?

Clients speak

For ethical reasons, I don’t ask my counseling clients for testimonials. Occasionally  they send me one anyway, and I get their permission to use it.  I do sometimes get testimonials when I give potential trainees a session so they know what their clients can expect. And during trainings, participants have multiple opportunities to be clients themselves. Here’s what a few folk have had to say about their  Symbolic Modeling experiences.

“Both of my sessions with you have had a residual effect on me in healthy way. Almost like a time release healing on my whole being.”  (referring to a Symbolic Modeling and a Clean Space session)

–Michele Schraf, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, Equine Specialist, Red Lion, PA

“In a very brief introductory session, you led me in an exploration of the images I had drawn, and my responses to them, during the half-hour while we talked. I found the experience both enlightening and enlivening, and ended with a renewed sense of strength and purpose in pursuing a goal I had been dreaming of for some time. Now, I feel ready to go after it with all my heart! Thanks again!”

–Barbara Robertson, Art Therapist, Clinical Group Specialist Annapolis, MD

“As a client I am amazed how easily a (Clean Language) facilitator can help me get in contact with that huge part of my mind and feelings that I overlook because of my habitual linear thinking. It always leaves me in awe of my own resources.”

–Carl van Rossum, Family Constellations facilitator, Edmonton, Alberta.

“I can’t believe the difference that one session with you has made for me….I feel so much lighter and more playful … It was beautiful the way you listened so deeply to what I was saying and repeated exactly what I needed to hear to let me go deeper and work my own way to a resolution, a resolution that I could feel came from within myself, not from you. Empowering!”  —S. F.

My session with you was a gift literally of a life time. So much, with ease, I was able to have my picture come to life. I did a drawing with the agitation and anguish and throughout our time together I could re-image and add the missing bits. A completely different picture emerged from the old with all the old still having its proper place –it just became very non-energetically of interest.  –B.V.

“That session we had was really really useful; it loosened up the whole work situation. I also felt very comfortable asking you to slow down or whatever I needed….Great session.”  —J.P.

“What a pleasure to share time with you. I find my life has more space, new perspectives and movement. It is always a delight, an expansive and warm-hearted experience. Thank you for sharing your gifts.”  —B.R.
